Our History
The Stockton Chapter is particularly proud of its collaboration with many other community based organizations and institutions. Namely, Stockton Unified School District, Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library, St. Joseph’s Medical Center, NAACP, Haggin Museum, Kaiser Permanente, San Joaquin Delta College, Head Start, University of California, and Cal Fresh Nutrition Education program.
Over the years, the Chapter’s annual fundraisers—Ebony Fashion Fair, Hats Off Luncheon, and Tea of the Ages have afforded the chapter to recognize and award thousands of dollars in scholarships to graduating high school students, and supporting our community services and programs.
Celebrating its 50th Anniversary and beyond, the Stockton Chapter continues to strive for excellence in vital areas of eliminating health and educational disparities, and being a ray of hope in the communities it serves.
